Well, it appears that Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam has called for six more depressing weeks of winter. While some of us are of course saddened by this news, there are certainiy those who will be excited to partake in some winter fun.
Another group of people who will are interested in Groundhog Day is Ms. Keough's kindergarten classes, who are taking part in Project Groundhog 2010. They will be keeping track of the weather for the next 6 weeks to see if the groundhog has made a correct prediction. Ms. Keough's class is in team 12, and you can look on the Project Groundhog website to find their teammates, which are scattered across the United States, or you can look at this Google Map to see them.
